haha i shall blog today. because yesterday something very important happen. hah its the first day of my first job ever in 16 years. okay its a waitress job and then lady boss said its not embarrassing to be a waiter/waitress because we're all in the service industry. if there's someone who eats, there must be a waiter/waitress to serve. so, please dont have any negative opinions about my job cos im perfectly enjoying it (:
hmm, okay so yesterday i left my house some time before 5 and went to grab a bite before working. because there is no dinner provided because im only working from 6-10 plus. okay, and then interesting and so qiao, i met mrs phua. haha saw her and her hubby. she was sitting at the next table haha. said hi to her and continued my 'dinner' and then said bye to her before i left. she's really nice and friendly :DD
uhhuh then went to work. felt weird when going in. cos there's someone standing at the entrance who will like greets you good evening, would you like to try our set meal. dont know what this person is called but whatever. so i walk up to her and say hi im here to work. weird but whatever. was v jing zhang cos there's no one i know there except kiat and lady boss. but didnt know them well too. merely saw them once yup. okay so lady boss gives me the uniform and i put my bag down and went to change. i thought i look really smart in that. haha, and then i went back and then okay. vincy taught me what i shd do and stuff. told me the table numbers and then how to set the table. and ya everything im supposed to know. except taking orders cos i think thats too much for a newcomer to know whats on the menu. haha vincy was really patient and i had lots of questions. there's another newcomer called jasmine. okay she started work ytd with me too. i think she was really shy so i decided to talk to her first. got common topic - olevels. haha but anyway, thats great i knew one more friend! (:
haha and then along the way, i was introduced to more people. mainly, nicole whom i met during the interview, vincy the first person i talk so much to, erm jasmine who was as noob as me haha but i think she's proer, alfred who is the supervisor along with kiat, alvin who is my partner and im his assistant, meiling who is chio and friendly, haha and meow meow which i dont know her real name and tried to scare me. and others whom i dont know their names yet. haha, really nice people seriously. my first day of work and i felt so relaxed. they're like all around my age. haha alvin is really nice i agree with vincy on that. he taught me alot and help me alot. and keep telling me to relax. haha but im so sorry alvin. haha didnt mean to spill water on your pants. haha and thank god you're pro enough so much so that u didnt spill the hot soup on me :DD

thats i guess what wraps up my first time at work ba. its quite scary la. cos sometimes have to balance 8 cups of water on a tray with one hand and its scary if i drop. couldnt imagine what happen if i really drop. but the first day pass rather well. haha, oh ya and thanks kiat for wasting so much of ur sms. and ya pestering you so much on what to wear and stuff. haha, thanks for ur patience. and boss's kids are really cute. haha the son huh. naughty actually tried to trick me. but its really nice la, i think i will have a whole new group of friends (: and then yup, haha i will enjoy my work and gain exp. oh yea after meiling left, i was told to go infront and stand there and be the one saying good evening blah blah. haha really scary i dont like to do this. but no choice. i think it really helps to build my confidence after i successfully led few customers in. considering its near closing time, and there's not much ppl eating dinner.
haha one day i might ask friends to come and eat. hey you, who's reading my post now, would you like to try our set meal. on weekends, we have this set meal at 13.90 and it consists of one main course, one dessert and one soup of the day. haha really worth it, cos it really looks so filling and nice and smells so great haha. haha i think its really worth it. whoever who wants to come, please sms me or msn me. i will tell u the restaurant (:
