havent been posting for some time. cos have been real busy with dance practices for rehearsal. from last fri to ytd, everyday was dance except sunday. it was quite fun la but real tiring. like for eg, mon and wed dance practice ends at 830pm. and its after stuff like chem lectures, chem spa. so everyday was very tiring. because ive a whole list of events. tue was better. the tech run ends at 4plus. and aft eating and some debrief we were let off since we had chem spa the next day. thu had full dress rehearsal at ucc. its damn cool how everything works haha! :DDDDD
for chem spa, yea it went off successfully and its quite cool that i can do all the calculations. and comparing answers with everyone else, it seems like mine is correct or rather everyone's correct! yay, so we will all get really good grades :D for thu, sorry xiaoxi for making you come all the way to ucc to get the tickets. and sorry for not answering the calls and replying to the smses. im practising away and there's no reception in my dressing room.
ytd was aristal! everything went on smoothly though everyone was tired. haha i reached rather early ytd like at 845 when we're meeting at 9. saw only a few ppl-kailun kurt xiuling weeteng saniah or smth like that. everyone was tired so we all slept for a while. and then had rehearsal at 10plus. lunch was late but whatever gobbled down cos we're all hungry! ha, then went for practice to check the lightning and everything and then went back for makeup and start preparation for aristal at night. it wasnt until 730 when we were all waiting outside that everyone started getting nervous. but the dance went on smoothly for everyone i guess, all the dance groups. although i tripped in both dances -.- but obviously it wasnt v obvious bcos i tripped at the back for basket dance. and although im infront of umbrella that trip wasnt obvious I HOPE! i heard the contempt got really loud applause! (:
yea great job everyone :D thanks to all the makeup artistes that came too :D oh and happy bday ms maya! quite cool haha syamil presented the flowers to cikgu. and everything and mrs tan said the umbrella dance was really gorgeous and wonderful :DDD yay, i guess its really like a load off us when we heard that since it was just finished on mon. camwhored quite alot ytd! mrs tan was v high and kept on wanting to take lots of photos for us! fake eyelashes are cool too ha but kinda irritating and pricky.
after aristal ends, felt like its finally over and a load off. but at the same time, had this feeling of emptiness. its like all of a sudden, all the hard work is just like over. was hoping it will never end. but time will just pass by la. but nvm, there're still more performances and competitions to come! :D go njc malay dance! and yea, i think everyone felt some emptiness and sadness afterall. as in for the seniors la. they're supposed to step down aft aristal. but i doubt they will cos they all have this strong love for malay dance (: just got to know the seniors better and the vietnamese guys more during this period of time and yea i will miss the times we have and practices.
at the same time, there is this feeling of satisfaction and happiness. it has been 6 whole years since i step onto the stage and perform once again. i mean, its such a long time. and ive sort of got use to the life of a sportswoman. running around on the courts facing a competitor. but the feeling up there on stage once again facing 1000plus audience together is real cool. as in, i dont know how to describe it la. but its really nice. im glad i found back my love for dance :DDD more days to come, more performances and competitions to go, and im sure it will be a whole new wonderful experience once again. standing up onto the stage yet again, i will bring out this confidence that i dont have when i was younger.
aristal doesnt mark the end; in fact its only the beginning! damn inspirational right, ok real cliche but its true. to the jc2s and ip4s that're leaving, for those that ive gotten to know quite abit like syafiqah xiaoying angela wanling claire, and those im just starting to know like syamil xiuling eleyna weeteng wernchia, and those ive not yet have a chance to know more about like kailun and aidan ( i hope i havent miss out ppl) yea, aiyah just to say that thanks for teaching me so much and bringing me up to the standard that i can perform proudly and confidently on stage.
